Dr. Subramanian's Bio

Dr. Raj Subramanian received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Virginia after doing high school in New Delhi, India. He went on to attend medical school at the Medical College of Wisconsin completing his Internal Medicine Residency at the University of North Carolina. He also did a short stint in Radiology at the Duke University Medical Center. After finishing cardiology fellowship, he was the Chief Cardiology Fellow at the University of Virginia and then pursued his Electrophysiology Residency at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Dr. Subramanian holds board certifications in Cardiovascular Diseases and Internal Medicine. TCAVI’s electrophysiologist he specializes in Electrophysiological Studies, Cardiac Ablations, Atrial Fibrillation Ablations and Device Implantation.

Dr. Subramanian joined The Cardiac and Vascular Institute in 2009. In his leisure time he enjoys rowing, fitness and spending time with his family.
